in case you are worried about Thai protests
We have been on Than Sadet beach on Koh Phangan island in southeast Thailand for a month. You can't get any safer than that. We are avoiding Bangkok where protests would concentrate. Meanwhile, we are thinking of visiting the far north of Thailand. Fortunately, there are direct flights that don't connect through Bangkok. On March 1 we plan to go back to Koh Samui to extend our visa. We'll have more to say once we get back to the land of high-speed Internet.

Hey! You're back! Blogging that is. Glad to see you're both taking it easy. Hope you got your land legs back Karen. And why do I get hungry whenever I read your blogs? Definately ordering out for a curry tonight for some reason. Seems like more snow here in the last few days than we've seen all winter. I commented on how pretty it was (again) and got another stern look (again). We're picking up our new bundle of joy tomorrow (border collie) and we'll call him Calum. Very exciting! Look forward to your pictures when you're able. Miss you! Scott says hi. Love Jen.
Hi Bob and Karen Glad to hear you are safe and doing well. Google your location... so jealous!!Quick question Karen...Does Kathleen need grade 11 or 12 science to get into a social work program? We'll talk more about that later (need some big time career/education advice) Love you
Lisa
